The Access Helpline is available 24-hour, seven-day-a-week. The Access Helpline can activate mobile crisis teams to respond to adults and children who are experiencing a psychiatric or emotional crisis and are unable or unwilling to travel to receive behavioral health services. DBH Voucher Program - Rental subsidies paid to landlords to supplement the tenant’s rent. Mental Health Community Residential Facilities (CRFs) -provide 24/7 supervised living in a home-like setting with community support from provider agencies. |

DHS provides transitional and permanent housing programs to District residents who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless and other services such as: The Interim Disability Assistance (IDA) program provides temporary financial assistance to those who are unable to work due to a disability and have a high probability of receiving federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Office of the Tenant Advocate (OTA) | The mission of the Office of the Tenant Advocate (OTA) is to provide technical advice and other legal services to tenants regarding disputes with landlords; to educate and inform the tenant community about tenant rights and rental housing matters; to advocate for the rights and interests of District renters in the legislative, regulatory, and judicial contexts; and to assist with temporary emergency housing for tenants displaced by fires, floods, or government closures. |

D.C. Mayor's Office of Veterans Affairs (MOVA) | MOVA provides veteran claims services and programs for DC veterans, their families, and caregivers. MOVA acts as the state-level VA for veterans living within the District of Columbia. MOVA completes benefit claims on their behalf and advocates to the Federal VA, located in Washington DC. MOVA does not work for the Federal VA. MOVA also provides local veteran transport programs and services for veterans and their families. |
