Giving Tuesday is a day which is observed on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It was created in 2012, to celebrate giving and charitable acts. Using the Internet and social media, this holiday is able to connect many different groups all over the world for the purpose of supporting service and giving back to not only the local community but also the world community as well.
