On October 1, 2013, the Department of Health Care Finance (“DHCF”), in collaboration with the Department on Disability Services (“DDS”), added flexibility to the way Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (“ICF/IID”) providers may spend the Active Treatment portion of the ICF/IID rate.
