Community Mapping Discussion 4-22-14

Below please find the data elements that all providers agreed to use when developing databases or spreadsheets of community activities. The group did not feel comfortable enough to pursue the development of a comprehensive community map at this point. However, everyone wanted to make sure that they are collecting all the same information so if in the future they decide to merge all of their data it could be done more easily.

Person-Centered Thinking

Person-centered thinking is a philosophy behind service provision that supports positive control and self-direction of people’s own lives. DDS is working to implement this through training sessions and other agency wide initiatives.

Employment First Initiative
