Local Dollars Policy 2012

The purpose of this policy is to establish the standards and guidelines by which the Department on Disability Services (DDS), Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), for the utilization of local funds to purchase, repair, rent or lease adaptive equipment for people who receive services and supports through the DDS service delivery system.

Person-Centered Thinking

Person-centered thinking is a philosophy behind service provision that supports positive control and self-direction of people’s own lives. DDS is working to implement this through training sessions and other agency wide initiatives.

Employment First Initiative
