On 5/27/21, DDS and Stakeholders were joined by SimplyHome and Angel Sense.  SimplyHome highlighted their "Firefly" tech solutions system  that communicates  with multiple sensors to observe activities of daily living.  Firefly prompts the completion of daily routines and proactively alerts caregivers or direct support professionals by text or email if assistance is needed. The Firefly integrates today’s most innovative smart home solutions to further support independence and keep caregivers informed, reducing the need for 24/7 staffing.  

Angel Sense showcased  it's GPS enabled wearable device which is a  tech solution that ensures safety & security in the community.   Angel Sense enables two-way communication, sos calling, and smart alerts to caregivers to support a person with successfully navigating their community independently.
