Proposed Amendments and Transition Plan Home and Community Based Waiver for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, advocates, and other stakeholders are invited to a community forum hosted by the Department on Disability Services and the Department of Health Care Finance to discuss:

• Proposed amendments to the HCBS Waiver, including new rates for services and changes to existing services.
• CMS’s new definition of Home and Community Based setting and D.C’s plan to assess our settings and come into compliance, where needed. (Transition Plan)
