Selection process

When applying for positions at the Department on Disability Services (DDS), it is imperative that all information on your application be both accurate and truthful. All information submitted is subject to verification. Misrepresentations of any kind may be grounds for disqualification for a position or termination once employed.

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and the basic minimum requirements established for the position may be referred to the selecting official for consideration. If further evaluation or interviews are required, you will be contacted by the selecting official. Normally, all applicants are notified and a final job offer to the selected candidate is made within 30-60 days after the issuance of the certificate.

No offer is final until a formal offer is received and a successful background check is completed (background checks are required for certain positions as specified on the offer letter).
