Continuity of Operations Plan Requirements for Providers of Residential Services

The purpose of this policy is to establish the standards and guidelines by which the Department on Disability Services (DDS) will require entities that enter into certain Human Care Agreements with the DDS to develop and maintain a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).

Person-Centered Thinking

Person-centered thinking is a philosophy behind service provision that supports positive control and self-direction of people’s own lives. DDS is working to implement this through training sessions and other agency wide initiatives.
