The DC Supporting Families Community of Practice and the DC chapter of the Association of Persons Supporting EmploymentFirst (APSE) invite you to share in a learning experience with us!

Please join us for the first in a three-part webinar series hosted by the State Employment Leadership Network (SELN) to learn about applying the LifeCourse framework to employment outcomes. The LifeCourse Framework helps people with disabilities, at any age or stage of life, to develop a vision for a good life. People with disabilities, their family members and support teams, can use the Framework to guide them in accessing family and community supports and achieving meaningful life experiences, including integrated employment. Using the LifeCourse Framework as a backdrop, the SELN is hosting a series of discussions on ways to reframe expectations around employment. After the webinar we will be hosting a short panel discussion on the work the DC Supporting Families Community of Practice and DC APSE are doing here in DC and how you can get involved.

RSVP: Jestina Heroe at jestina.heroe@dc.<govmailto:[email protected]> or 202-730-1586 and please let her know if you need a reasonable accommodation to participate

If you are unable to attend the event with us, you can still view the webinar on your own after registering here: <http://www.selnmembers.org/familyregistration>. For the discussion after the webinar, you can participate by phone at 202-442-4424, with conference number 2026 and pin number 6202.

Please share this invitation widely! We look forward to growing our community of people with disabilities and family members working together to create better supports for positive employment outcomes!
