The DC RSA Office of Youth and Transition Services (OTYS) provides statewide leadership in the development and delivery of services to schools and students/families for the accomplishment of long-term employment outcomes for youth with disabilities. These services are based on a youth development program model that features interagency collaboration, service coordination, and youth-focused planning consistent with family and cultural values.

Transition Services identifies youth and young adults with disabilities to assist them to prepare for, pursue, and fulfill their career choice based on their abilities and interests and become self-sufficient citizens of the District of Columbia.
