The Mayor's Committee on Persons with Disabilities (MCPD) of Washington, DC is pleased to announce our Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception, 11 am-2 pm, Thursday, October 19, 2006, Mayor's Press Briefing Room, in the John Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. 

October is National Disability Employment Awareness month and the MCPD Annual Awards Ceremony will recognize and honor local volunteers and individuals, as well as national leaders within the disability community. Nominees are recognized for their activities that educate, empower and advance opportunities on behalf of persons with disabilities.
