Human Capital Management

Deborah Bonsack, Management Administrator

The Human Capital Administration is responsible for providing best practices HR leadership to attract, develop and retain a highly qualified workforce to meet the needs of the organization in carrying out its mission.  The Administration is responsible for assisting the leadership of DDS in creating a HR workforce development plan that meets the Agency’s goals and objectives.  The Administration coordinates and designs all matters associated with staffing, recruitment, promotion, separation, employee benefit programs, employee wellness, retirement issues, organizational structure and position development and classification, agency time and attendance, adverse and corrective actions, labor and employee relations.  The Administration is responsible for ensuring that the Agency is compliance with all federal and District laws pertaining to employment and the rights of employees.
 
  • TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT SECTION
    Nicole Boynes, Training Officer
The Office of Training and Staff Development (DDS) is responsible for providing a competency-based training curriculum for all DDS employees and providers who deliver services to customers of DDS.  The Office is also responsible for establishing a staff development plan for each employee, supervisor, and manager to ensure that staff receives the training services to meet the needed relevant proficiency and achieve the highest level of performance.
