The Office of the Director provides strategic leadership, vision and policy direction to the DDS Administrations and Offices to meet the needs of persons with disabilities living in the District of Columbia.  The Director’s office coordinates agency operations to ensure the attainment of the agency’s goals and objectives.  The Director is the official spokesperson for the department and all media and legislative requests must be approved through this office.
